World Learning works globally to enhance the capacity and commitment of individuals, institutions, and communities to create a more peaceful and just world through education, sustainable development, and exchange. Our projects support marginalised people to live full and prosperous lives in some of the most complex and fragile places in the world, as well as at home.
World Learning Europe is part of the World Learning family, an 85-year old organisation which is both an accredited academic institution founded on the principles of immersion, inclusion, mutual understanding and respect and an international NGO working in more than 100 countries in education, global development and exchange.
We work with organisations to design and develop policy, systems and procedures around our key focus areas of inclusion and safeguarding of children and vulnerable adults. This includes supporting them with strategy development, training and support. To read more about our work in these areas see our current work section.
TAAP – which stands for Transforming Agency, Access, and Power – is a resource designed for practitioners, organisations, and policy makers to ensure the integration of inclusive development in existing projects. Together, we work amplify the voices, opportunities, and dignity of all people. For more information on the TAAP Initiative, please visit taappinclusion.org.
